By conducting a Stewardship Survey of their local Protected Natural Area, students will learn about land conservation in New Brunswick and how they can take an active role in their protection. With a bioblitz component students will observe and record the biodiversity of the area and make connections between habitats, wildlife and the threats they face.
Space and setup requirements: Fieldtrip to local Protected Natural Area (PNA) or forest trail or park.
