NatureKids – January 2024

For January 2024, participating NatureKids groups were encouraged to have some fun in the snow and think about the ways creatures have evolved to survive a long, cold winter.

Les Hérons de 2b played games to explore migration, insulation and hibernation. They even took the fun indoors and drew the animals that match the survival method.

The Rainbow of Cultures took the time to use all their senses to explore nature.

Here we Grow bundled up and went outside to test out their senses!

The Hampton Fresh Air Collective took the opportunity of fresh snow to try to find some animal tracks. Look at these cool Squirrel tracks!

Check out the suggested activities and resources below to have your own winter fun.
