#MyNatureNB “Passport”- available at events or printable (from our Facebook page)

SEPTEMBER 11, 2017 — Thanks to a generous donation from VIA Rail Canada we are holding another contest in the #mynaturenb series!

Now that we have chosen the five finalists (see our finalists on our website) we will be hosting events for the public visit and explore the locations that have been chosen. There will be activities throughout the day for kids, families and naturalists.

Here’s how it will work:

1)Print off the #MyNatureNB Photo/Storytelling Contest Passport below and bring it with you to your visit
2)Get it stamped by one of our staff members at the event
3)Your name will be entered into a draw to win a $500.00 travel credit from VIA Rail!

Bonus** The more visits you go to, the more entries you will get.
example- go to three out of five visits, get three entries.

Our first stop on the #MyNatureNB Passport is Pabineau Falls. This location was nominated by Denise Mallet, and was chosen by our contest committee.

Schedule of events:
8:00AM: Hike the Sentier Nepisiguit Mi’gmaq Trail with members from the trail group. An 18-20km full day hike.
2:00PM: Join the Bathurst NatureKids Club and Elder Gilbert Sewell of the Pabineau First Nation to learn about the history and legends of Pabineau Falls!

This project was funded in part by the Government of Canada.
